When a phone with the MoMAR app running points at the painting Easter and the Totem by Jackson Pollock, the frame of the painting is turned into a giant interactive iPhone.
The app features audio that is affected by the distance you are from the painting, including a soundscape and lines of a poem. There are also a few other interactions : you can “like” the image, and look at a few nonsense push notifications, and explore the artwork/phone with a recursive feedback loop.
Created for the guerrilla AR group show at the MoMa Jackson Pollock Room, "Hello, we're from the internet."
