Memory/Place: Silent Barn is a virtual reality environment created to commemorate the launch of the new website for DIY event space Silent Barn. M/P:SB uses images from the Silent Barn archive to construct an imagined version of the physical space, situated in a rolling landscape of art and artifacts from Silent Barn.

The virtual Silent Barn was originally installed in the irl Silent Barn on an Oculus Rift June 2014.A web version is live, here.

Version 2.0, on view throughout 2015, will feature real-time spatialized sound piped in from actual microphones placed throughout silent barn.
